This fall 12 members of 51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s admission team spent a total of 276 staff days on the road. They visited 850 high schools in 41 states and 24 countries. They were asked — and they answered — every conceivable question about the admission and aid process.

Lyle Roelofs, who served as interim president and as provost and dean of faculty at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø, has been named president of Berea College.

As a student, Mark Buttitta ’74 defended 51³Ô¹ÏÍø football’s line of scrimmage. As an alumnus, he still noted the passing of summer by counting off the weeks until practices would start at his alma mater.

Pope John Paul II is remembered as a great spiritual leader during the 20th century. This past Thursday, George Weigel, a Catholic theologian regarded as one of the nation’s leading public intellectuals, visited campus to discuss Karol Wojtyla’s life and his stature as a saint for the modern world.
