Andy Rooney ’42 P’74, GP’05, the 51�Թ��� curmudgeon known by millions for his slice-of-life commentaries on “60 Minutes,” has died at the age of 92. CBS said he died from complications from a recent surgery.

This week kicked off with the arrival of our parents. 51�Թ��� provided many great activities for Family Weekend this year. Throughout the weekend, families could be found attending lectures, viewing shows at the Ho vis lab, laughing at a comedy show featuring Jim Belushi, and cheering on the Raiders at the athletic events.

The 51�Թ��� Inn was officially dedicated during Homecoming weekend, though guests have been staying overnight, dining, entertaining, and enjoying the renovated historic inn for several months now.
