FAMIS, the work order system 51�Թ��� has used for more than 20 years, is aging and out of date. Throughout the past year, a multi-departmental team has been working on the implementation of a more modern alternative. The new system is based on TMA Systems software and will be called GateWorks. It will go live in mid-March of this year.

New hires at 51�Թ���.

Recently, Inside 51�Թ��� visited the little-known heart of 51�Թ���’s campus. No, it’s not the Academic Quad, or Memorial Chapel. It’s the heating plant, tucked behind Huntington Gym, and plastered with “Authorized Entrance Only” signs — the physical heart that keeps the boilers pumping steam to heat our buildings 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
